Due:
Roll a dice and add to the body. Choose between the girl or boy. 🙂 You can also use pieces of paper and write the numbers on them. Have your child draw a number and create the tooth fairy. Afterwards, you can color and add hair to him or her.
Due:
You could talk about who the characters are or where the story is taking place (the setting.)
Due:
Make a large letter J on paper. Use something around the house for your child to place on the letter J. Example: pennies, cereal, beans....
Due:
Choose 2 worksheets to complete from packet sent home on Tuesday. Let me know if you have any questions! You can also use a blank sheet of paper and practice letter J or T and their name. When practicing their name you can write it and then let them copy it below. Have them focus on one letter at a time. If they get frustrated you can always stop. All my students are at different levels of writing their name. If they are having a really hard time just focus on the first letter, if they get that then go to the next letter and practice. (This is how I teach it in class.) Kids at this age really need a lot of fine motor activities to help develop their hands and muscles. If you have clothes pins you have them pin them to a magazine or piece of paper. Also, playdough is a good for the hands. Just having them roll in a ball or roll to make snakes. If you have shaving cream, you could let them write in it while taking a bath, just put it on the way in the bath. Â
Due:
This is just an extra video to watch of the story Sneezy the Snowman. We read this one in class and they really liked it.
Due:
Watch and enjoy! You could also talk about loosing baby teeth and getting new teeth.Â
Due:
This week we are learning about dental health. Pick 2 or more dental health videos to watch (you do not have to watch all of the Blippi but I am sure the kiddos will want to lol)
Due:
Please choose 2 of the worksheets sent home, complete and return to school. In the event that Thursday is also a Distance Learning Day, you will also complete 2 more worksheets.Â
(Letter T is a review and Letter J is a new letter being introduced this week.)
(Letter T is a review and Letter J is a new letter being introduced this week.)
Due:
Watch videos to review letter S. Practice making letter S with a pencil, crayon or even shaving cream! :)Â
Due:
Use dice, roll, count and create a snowman. If you don't have dice you can write dots on pieces of paper and pick from the pile. Follow snowman key. Take a picture of completed snowman, attach assignment and turn in on Google classroom.
Due:
Watch and find 3 things in your house that are black. Attach picture and mark done.
Due:
Students need to practice putting on their coats. When they take off the coat and the arms are inside out, show them how to grab them and pull them the right side out. If there are buttons you can have them practice snapping then together. Practice with gloves and hats as well. Take a video and turn in.
Due:
Students will use a marker, crayon or pencil to make the letter E. We always start at the top when making our letters. Use materials you have around the house and place on the letter E. In the video I used coins. You could use: elbow noodles, cereal, stickers... the items do not have to be glued, just take a picture.
Due:
Use materials sent home in the Friday folder to complete the turkey. A video is attached 🙂
