Meet the PE Teacher

I am in my 6th year of teaching Physical Education at Flower Mound. I played on a National Championship football team and have coached many highly rated girls volleyball teams.  One of the main things I love about teaching PE is it exposes students to many different forms of physical activity that can be taken with them for a lifetime of enjoyment even when not in school or playing for a team.  PE also gives students the opportunity to demonstrate positive social behaviors that emphasizes both sportsmanship and teamwork all while having fun.

I have been blessed to be the OU teacher of the game in 2021, a finalist for the POE Excellence in Education Award, and a finalist for the OAHPERD Teacher of the Year.
