Winter Announcements

Winter Break is almost here! Before the break starts, we have a few announcements we want to share and a few reminders for January!
💙Tuesday, December 16 – FROSTY FEST and Pajama Day (please wear school appropriate pajamas and outdoor shoes for recess, no house shoes!) This is a day filled with fun Christmas activities and games as well as a visit from Santa Claus himself (he might even bring the Mrs. this year!) Our staff and volunteers are going to make it an amazing experience! The students will rotate through stations where areas have been transformed into the most magical places! It can also be the last day for students if parents choose to do so.
💙Wednesday, December 17 – Winter Wonderland - wear all white or light blue to represent snowflakes. It's also EARLY RELEASE DAY at 12:30. THERE IS NO DRIVE-UP OR AFTER SCHOOL EXTENDED DAY! You must walk-up on Wednesday at 12:30 or, if in the district, ride the bus. Bus route leaves at 12:30 and someone must be home for bus route drop off. This is more of a work day for teachers to clean and shut down rooms for the break. Students may attend if needed, but are not required. Attendance will not be taken!
💙Tuesday, January 6 – First day back to school for students!
💙Reminders for 2nd semester
*If you are utilizing drive up or walk up in the morning, the doors close at 8:10 when the bell rings so teachers can return to their classrooms to start the day. Please be mindful of the time when you are arriving.
*Your child becomes tardy if they arrive after 8:10 and three tardies equal an absence. We have started seeing more and more tardies happening. Please try to have your child here on time! Thank you for your help on this matter!
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Be safe and enjoy time with family!
